FORPRO-REMOTE / GUIDE

Access your home or office PC remotely

Prepare a computer for working remotely: power and sleep settings, accounts, sharing permissions, connection checks and access review after use.

Keep the working computer powered on

airdesk connects to a computer you own. It does not provide a cloud PC, and a normal connection cannot access a powered-off computer.

Check that the host has internet access and that sharing is ready in the app. Review power and sleep settings according to your workplace policy before extended use.

Test before you leave

Install the app on the computer you will connect from and sign in with the same account. Confirm the host is online, then test from the network you intend to use.

Check ongoing screen updates, typing in a document and audio if needed. Responsiveness and image quality depend on both devices and their networks.

Understand basic access and additional features

A Free account lets you start with basic remote access. Check the pricing page for computer limits and additional features. Team computers may require separate sharing permissions and organization entitlements.

Grant the necessary computer sharing permissions instead of sharing passwords. Follow your employer's remote access policy and obtain the required approval for company PCs.

If the session disconnects

Check host power, network and app status before reconnecting. Ask your administrator whether app traffic is allowed on a restricted company network. Do not disable the entire firewall as a workaround.

Save your work and lock the remote screen when finished. Review and revoke any temporary sharing access you no longer need.
